Specialist Monocouche Render Repair

Dayco was appointed to carry out specialist localised repairs to a Fassa Bortolo Monocouche Through Coloured Scraped Render system at a property in Richmond upon Thames. Sections of the existing façade had become defective and delaminated, requiring a sympathetic repair that would restore both the performance and appearance of the render.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was achieving a seamless repair while preserving the character of the existing façade. With no original specification available, careful investigation was required to identify the closest possible match to the existing render. Our objective was to deliver a durable repair that blended naturally with the surrounding elevation and maintained the building's visual integrity.

Our Solution

Our specialist rendering team carefully removed all defective render back to a sound substrate before installing a reinforced base coat to provide a robust foundation for the repair. Although newly applied through-coloured render can initially appear slightly different, it naturally weathers over time, allowing the repaired areas to blend more closely with the existing finish. By combining specialist product knowledge, proven repair techniques and meticulous attention to detail, we delivered a long-lasting repair that restored the façade while preserving the building's original appearance.
